Merigar East Useful Information AccomodationThe easiest way for managing the accommodation is a room renting in the village 23 August. It is not typical touristic site with many hotels and pensions but rather a village where you can rent a room in one of the villager’s houses, often sharing the space with the householders. Sometimes owners move out during the renting period, making the whole house available for the customers. There are different standards and prices according to the level of comfort, but even the most expensive rooms in the village are cheaper than those affordable in the seaside resorts (prices vary between 15 to 25 Euro /room/night).

You can book accommodation directly in hotels or pensions along the coast. There are a great variety of standards: small pensions, bungalows, different hotels for the whole families or singles. - In the Gar
This year we can offer only a limited possibility for camping in the Gar and it is reserved especially for those who are helping to organize the retreat (karmayogis). The conditions are quite modest, however we will provide an outdoor kitchen with gas stoves, drinking water supply, lavatories and outdoor shower and we will offer kitchen stuff as well (pots, etc.). Campingers should bring their own tent, sleeping bag, mat and camping equipment. For more details please contact our geko.
